This notice explains what we do with your information. It is deliberately short, because we collect very little.
Your birth details never reach us
The map is calculated entirely in your browser. Your birth date, time and place are used by JavaScript running on your own device. They are not transmitted to our servers, not logged, and not stored.
No cookies, no tracking
This site sets no cookies and runs no analytics or advertising trackers. There is no consent banner because there is nothing to consent to. Your browser may keep your last map in its address-bar history — that is local to your device and invisible to us.
What our server does see
Like any web server, ours records the ordinary technical details of a request — IP address, time, page requested, browser type — for security and debugging. These logs are kept briefly and are not used to build a profile of you or combined with anything else.
Your rights
Under UK GDPR you can ask for a copy of your data, ask us to correct it, ask us to delete it, object to processing, or ask for it in a portable format. Email hello@wherethestarsfall.com and we will respond within one month.
If you are unhappy with how we have handled your information you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.
